I grew up in Harrison St at the top end of View, Forest and Wattle Streets. I lived there from 1949 to 1971.
There were always houses on the main corners of the intersection except for the "V" corner which is the Barnard St-Eaglehawk Rd corner. I'm very surprised that you cannot find anything in the BDM for Victoria. There is a Bennett St in Bendigo. Is it named after him? Best regards |
